In reading some of the recent responses to the whole new leadership thing, 2 things occurred to me. 1) As the person stepping down, I was going to have to get comfortable talking about things I've done in the past tense and saying how much they disliked them. 2) I've tried to bite down on some of my initial responses to avoid being defensive, but also because I just communicate differently from others. That 2nd bit reminded me of a very humorous picture I can no longer find, but it got a lot of laughs and helped some of my friends at the time get me a little better. I found the next best thing though. As some background, there's thing called the Myers-Briggs Personality Types based on Jung's work, which gauges people across 4 spectrums to create 16 archetypes: Extroverted vs Introverted, Thinking vs Sensing, Feeling vs Thinking and Judging vs Perceiving. It's a fun thing to play around and read about yourself or others. If you're curious and want to learn more: General Info on Wikipedia. Also, A free test to determine your type.Anyway, this link should explain a few things about my behavior.

I'm an INFJ. This place is pretty much spot on for my existence. personalityjunkie.com/the-infj/Everyone else should post what they are, too, with a little research! I love this kind of stuff, it's so enlightening~

personalityjunkie.com/the-intp/If you haven't read much on it, Sword, you should check it out. I can see some of the traits in you just from what I've come to know of you in game, but hearing your thoughts on its accuracy would be nice.

I took the actual test during a college course some many years ago and was a strong INTP. Reading through the personality profile I can see myself in a lot of what they mentioned. I've had several friends tell me over the years that I tend to 'over analyze' things. Also, I think this explains why Ten and I tend to 'bump heads' a lot. : P

ENTJ Extravert(11%) iNtuitive(50%) Thinking(12%) Judging(1%) You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (11%) You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%) You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%) You have marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving (1%) www.humanmetrics.com/hr/JTypesResult.aspxENTJ, But almost all of my categories are marginal which makes me very middle of the road. E - I am comfortable in crowds (such as at work), but for recreation I generally don't part much and would rather have some alone time/reading time/time with 1-3 people. N- I am listed intuitive due to my ability to make quick decisions, though I think it is more because I have a lot of experience being the one that has to make the decision; so it is more like looking at experience and previous research and using that to make a decision on the spot T- Thinking vs Feeling, I think I am more or less 50%-50% on that; you must be both fair to the group at large (thinking) AND be open to exceptions for people who need them (feeling). J-It says I have no preference, but I think I perceive more than I judge, but for the fact that I am put in more situations where a judgement (or decision) must be made.

Elze! Your type is supposed to be really competitive, honest, and a natural-born leader! That's awesome! ^-^ We are literally the exact opposite of each other, lol. Our only similarity is introverted intuition, but still we use it differently---while mine focuses on understanding other people in an emotional sense, yours is more geared for problem-solving, as Ten's is. I'd *love* to see the transcript of a dialogue about work and life philosophies between the two of you. lol

So far I'm only 1 letter variation from each person who has posted, I'm INTJ, never actually spelled that out before in the main body.

Except for the competitive part that is exactly me. I tend to always try to be a team player in a group situation, but if people don't step up or are half assed I quickly assume leadership. And I always invite philosophical discussions, they are a lot of fun.
