So I saw a different stat on downing Garrosh today and wanted to post it for thoughts: Meele and the 1 tank stacked is the same spot that we have been. The 2 healers and range stacked back and over towards the engineer a little but still in range of boss. wen the weapon was thrown at range they moved just far enough to get out of it in the direction of the boss. The rang killing the engineer solos the weapon while the range stay dedicated to boss. range must not use aoe until tank is secure with adds. Once weapon is down range move back to same spot as before. P2: same as part 1 except no engineer soft spred for adds but with same strat. P3: same as P2: but kill MC's to win
1 tank/ 2 heals/ 10 dps = 13 toons

The problem with this is that movement and waiting on the adds slows down DPS. It might work for some groups. Ideally though, if heals can keep up we stay stacked P1 and P2 and you don't even need to think until Empowered Whirlwinds and P3. The biggest trick to this fight is not freaking out when the Emp Whirl adds show up. They're soloable, they are tankable by all, the only concern is heals being nearby and being 5 yards away from other adds when they blow up. The mechanic we need to learn like a dance is: Whirlwind comes, then the axe gets thrown, then the Mind Controls happen. From P2 on this is always the order. Once we have Emp Whirls, we need to spread for the adds, pop cooldowns and burn them, and wait for the axe. If there are any adds up when the axe comes, they're ignored. We Stack up again, burn the axe, and deal with MCs. Once those two are done, spread again and burn adds (with the help of any dps like you dev that can taunt them away from the tank (and i'll drop aggro best i can too)). The only added pain in P3 is that we have to move out of the axe instead of burning it and we can't use stuns on the MCs. That's fine, we mark someone as the stack point, and stack on them, ignoring the Axe completely. Spread, Burn Adds, Stack on Marked Person, Deal with MCs, Finish Adds, Burn Boss. If we learn this dance, flex or normal, we'll have him. -
