Got this froma Weight Watchers recipe book when my mother was going on her diet.
Maple-Glazed Chicken
Ingredients: 1 Tea Paprika 1 Tea Salt ½ Tea Cinnamon ½ Tea Cumin ½ Tea Pepper 4 Chicken Breasts- filleted 2 Tbl Maple Syrup 1 Tbl Butter – Melted 1 Tbl Dijon Mustard
Directions:
Combine Paprika, Salt, Cinnamon, Cumin and Pepper; rub into Chicken. Add the Chicken to a 13x9 baking pan and bake Chicken for 15 minutes at 400*. Combine Maple Syrup, Butter and Mustard in a small bowl; microwave to blend. Brush Chicken with Syrup Mixture and bake for 5 minutes. Brush the other side of the Chicken and bake for 5 more minutes. Let rest for a few minutes to reabsorb juices before serving.
This is my BBQ variation of it.
BBQ Chicken
Ingredients: 1 Tea Salt 1 Tea Paprika 1 Tea Chili Powder ½ Tea Pepper ½ Tea Onion Powder ½ Tea Garlic Powder 5 Chicken Breasts - Filleted 1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce
Directions:
Combine All Spices, sprinkle on both sides of the Chicken. Place Chicken on Grill and brush with half the BBQ Sauce. Turn after 5 minutes and brush with the remaining BBQ Sauce. Cook for 5 more minutes.
