It's a book club, but for anime.
Those of us in the group will take turns choosing a new series or movie to watch. We'll agree to a reasonable length of time to have watched it by. A movie may only be a week since it's usually 90 minutes. A series however, is usually around 13, 26, 52 or 400 episodes. In the case of a series, we will break it up into smaller viewing deadlines. Each viewing block will be broken up into a different thread for the purposes of not posting spoilers for anyone catching up.
These deadlines are not obligations, you won't be kicked out or anything if you don't meet them. You also don't need to watch every series the group picks. The idea of the deadlines is to have a point where everyone can fully begin discussing things. Each new pick will have its own thread, so it is entirely possible for someone to jump in on old conversations and restart them.
We're looking for a constructive conversation. What did you like or not like, AND why. Critique is encouraged, but keep it civil and constructive. Also, we will run into strong differences in our personal preferences across genre and other things, so let's keep an open mind of those biases. Lastly, an overall rating is something good to include.
