Garrosh is a tightly focused movement fight and the majority of players have difficulty with it, reacting to things as they happen instead of anticipating. So, in short here is the series of movements for the fight to be memorized.
Phase 1:
Either -
A) Stack with the tank. DPS down Axes immediately while healers heal through the damage. (mana costly, but high dps)
B) Move between 2 markers in the back of the room moving away from Axes.
Phase 2 - Pre-Empowered Whirling Corruption (The Ping-Pong Method):
Step 1) Axe Lands -> Move to Melee
Step 2) MC's hit -> Free MC'd, interupt and stun
Step 3) Move to safe back marker -> Ranged kill the Axe
Step 4) Wait for Whirling Corruption
*Exception* - The 4th Axe is followed immediately by Whirling Corruption, the MC comes 3rd in the rotation, so move to the safe marker before heading to melee.
Phase 2 - Empowered Whirling Corruption:
Step 1) Axe Lands -> Move to Melee
Step 2) MC's hit -> Free MC'd, interupt (no more stuns)
Step 3) Move to safe back marker -> Ranged kill the Axe
Step 4) Wait for Empowered Whirling Corruption -> Dodge Purple Swirls, Kill Adds
Phase 3:
Step 1) Axe Lands -> Move to Melee
Step 2) MC's hit -> Free MC'd, interupt (no more stuns)
Step 3) Move to safe back marker-> Ranged kill the Axe
Step 4) Wait for Empowered Whirling Corruption -> Dodge Purple Swirls, Kill Adds
It is a 4 step dance that must be memorized. There is a subtle change in actions between the last 3 versions of the fight, only affecting dps. The changes are highlighted with bold text. It is sufficient generally to memorize the 4 steps of phase 2 as the rest are fairly intuitive.
As there is a lot of mobility to the fight, this will drastically impact performance for most class/specs, primarily casters. This makes it crucial to be standing where you need to be waiting for the next ability, so you can get the jump on it and put your best numbers up.
