Mirannah called together a meeting of the guilds so members could meet and mingle with their new friends and allies from Divine Nobility.
For a while things were calm; the great circle of participants introducing themselves continued, and much fun was had (sometimes at the expense of those in the momentary spotlight.)
...But trouble came with the arrival of an orcish scout by the name of Aghog. While at first the members assumed he was simply a wanderer, he unnerved them with news of the warchief's sudden interest in guild activities. For what purpose would Garrosh need to survey them? Out of at least a thousand other communities, most of them devoted to the very cause of obtaining his head, certainly he would take no notice of one so small... But accusations of treason heated the once-calm atmosphere of the guild hall to an uncomfortable degree.
The group became caught up in a dangerously physical debate with this newcomer--all were threatening with bows, fists, daggers, and spells at the ready, some trying to intimidate the self-proclaimed 'Official Scout of Hellscream' into fleeing, others in blind rage ready to strike, to make the scout pay with blood for his words.
The all-too-excited and crazed warlock, Syncrow, finally took the threats too far. Frightened for his comrades and struggling to control himself, he launched an attack against the scout, one that proved to be accidentally lethal. The force of the shadowy assault injured several nearby members, and bathed nearly everyone in a shower of blood and bits of bone.
As if things could not spiral more into chaos, the members soon discovered the truth behind the late scout's words---they were, indeed, being watched. Within minutes, it seemed, the threatened forces of Hellscream's scout were at their doorstep and barging in, clamoring 'treason' and 'punishment for crimes against the warchief.' Among the first band of Garrosh's croonies were the Head-of-Command of Surveillance and Observation, Gribbel, and his right-hand, the goblin Primix.
Desperately, Mirannah demanded the members vacate the premises before whatever reinforcements were bound to come could hold them. Not one of her comrades would be held accountable for the actions of Syncrow, accidental as they may have been...and besides, that scout deserved a gruesome death anyway, all those slanderous things he said about the Dark Lady... *ahem*
Lianadra and Lamarun were charged with getting Divine Nobility's leader, Gashi, to safety, as well as collecting any stragglers from the group's rapid departure. They were to stop for no one.
Primix and a team were dispatched to pursue and detain them for questioning.
Mirannah and Syncrow remained in the hall to deal with Gribbel.
